Clan
In MonstersGame, vampires and werewolves can form their own clans.
General
Via the menu item Clans you can either search for clans to join or, if your character has already reached level 3, you can also found your own clan. As soon as you have joined a clan or founded your own clan, you will be given various options under the Clans menu item.
As clan administrator, you can accept new members, grant rights and dismiss members again. You can also expand the clan domicile or even dissolve the clan again. You should therefore exercise caution when assigning rights to other members.
The Clandomizil
The larger the Clandomizil is, the more members you can accept into the clan. In order to expand the clan residence further, gold is required, which members can donate to the clan. The largest Clandomizil at the moment is at level 25 and can accommodate up to 135 members.
Reasons for clans
Why should you join a clan? There are many reasons:
- You can get to know new people
- If you are attacked by stronger people, you can ask for help
- You can share your gold donkey with them and maybe even find new ones
- You can wage wars against other clans
- You can organise tournaments to determine the best of the clan
Clan tag/name error
If you receive an error when naming your clan, there are two possible reasons for this: Either the clan name or clan tag is already taken or it contains special characters or umlauts. Due to the current situation, from now on ONLY numbers and upper and lower case letters may be used for the clan tag. Umlauts in the clan name are no longer possible. If you do, you must write them as follows:
- Ä = ae
- Ö = oe
- Ü = ue
- ß = ss
Admission of clan members
To be able to accept new players into the clan, your domicile must be expanded, among other things. The more developed it is, the more members you can accept into the clan. For example, if you have 19 out of 20 members in the clan, you must expand in order to accept a 20th member, because the system has already reserved one place for applications only!
Online display
Normal clan members only see the administrators of the clan online. Full admins, i.e. with admin level 4, see all members online as soon as they do something in the game.
Clan rights
To assign admin rights or clan rights, you must click on "Clan" > "Admin rights". The prerequisite is that you have clan rights.
Clan rights enumeration
- Newsletter - The newsletter option gives the clanmember the right to send out newsletters to all clan members.
- Forum admin - The forum admin option gives the clan member the right to change the forum (link). (At that time there was a built-in clan forum in a test phase, but this was removed again because it was very buggy and so it was replaced by an optional link).
- Clan description - The clan description option allows the clan member to change and customise the description of the clan.
- Hire & Kick - This option allows your clan member to kick other members from the clan and accept new applicants.
- Clan Wars - The Clan Wars option allows your clan member to start or cancel a clan war.
- Disband clan - This option should be self-clearing, so your clan member can disband or delete the entire clan.
- Full admin - With this option you have all the above-mentioned rights and are as high as the clan founder.
