After you have registered with MonstersGame, you will be asked to activate your email via a so-called activation email. For activation click on Profile > Request activation mail. You will then (normally) receive an email with an activation link. You just have to click on it, then your account should be activated. But why should you do this at all?

• If the email address has been activated, you can retrieve your password using the forgot password? function.

Attention: If the email address has not been activated, you cannot request a password!

Mail confirmation in MoonID portal

If you have registered in the MoonID portal, you will automatically receive an e-mail in which you have to confirm your e-mail address, just like when you change your e-mail address.

In the mail you will get the following link which you have to click on:

https://moonid.net/account/activate/XXXXXXXXXXX/

XXX = numbers and letters that are only valid for you to confirm your email address.

Problems during activation

From time to time there may be minor problems with the activation of the mail, which are listed below.

Das kann mehrere Gründe haben:

• Der Mailanbieter (web, hotmail, gmx und viele andere Freemailanbieter) halten die Mail zurück und sie kommt erst nach einigen Tagen an
  

Lösung: Einige Zeit abwarten, die Mail sollte irgendwann durch kommen

• Die Mail ist im Spamordner gelandet, weil der Absender nicht in die sogenannte Whitelist eingetragen wurde
  

Lösung: Mail aus dem Spamordner fischen

• Es kommt kurz nach Server-Start keine Mail an

Lösung: Durch die vielen Anforderungen einer Aktivierungsmail kam es zu einer Überlastung. Einfach später nochmal versuchen

Seltsame Zeichen

Wenn die Email nur aus einem unleserlichen Buchstaben-Salat besteht, den man nicht entziffern kann, dann liegt das am Email-Anbieter oder Emailprogramm (z.B. ältere Outlook-Versionen), der/die das Base64 System nicht unterstützt/en.

Lösung: Den Unverständlichen Text hier reinkopieren und decodieren lassen.

Mittlerweile sollte das problem nicht mehr vorkommen da ältere Version von Outlook etc. nicht mehr Supportet werden, sollte trotzdem jemand ein problem haben kann er diese lösung zu hilfe nehmen.
