General

  • In connection with hit points (abbreviated as HP below), MonstersGame uses two different values:**
  1. Weapon HP – the hit point value shown on a weapon.
  2. Combat HP – the damage actually dealt to the opponent during combat.

Battle reports

The combat report first provides a summary of the total number of hit points dealt by the vampire and the werewolf. The hit points dealt correspond to the amount of life energy the respective opponent loses during combat.

The detailed breakdown of the individual combat rounds is only displayed immediately after the fight. If the combat report is accessed again later via the messages or combat reports, this section is no longer included.

This is how you increase your caused HP

The hit points dealt are influenced, among other things, by the weapon used and the Strength value. The documented base value without a weapon and without additional Strength is 1 HP.

For example, if you purchase the first weapon available from Level 1, the Dagger, it has a value of 2 HP. This value can be increased further by hardening the weapon:

  • 0 hardenings = 2 HP
  • 1 hardenings = 3 HP
  • 2 hardenings = 4 HP
  • 3 hardenings = 5 HP
  • 4 hardenings = 6 HP

The extent to which hardening increases the hit points depends on the original HP of the respective weapon. Further information can be found under Weapon hardening.

Each time the weapon is hardened, it gains 5% additional HP.

Note: A weapon's HP is not converted into additional damage at a 1:1 ratio. Historical player tests suggest a ratio of approximately 5:1. This means that 5 additional weapon HP could result in approximately 1 additional HP of damage in combat. However, these tests do not provide a conclusively confirmed calculation formula.

Historical player tests also exist regarding the influence of Strength. These suggest a ratio of approximately 10:1, meaning that 10 points of Strength could result in approximately 1 additional HP of damage. However, this is also not a confirmed calculation formula.

This is how you decrease your suffered HP

Based on the information documented here, it has not been clearly established which factors reduce the hit points received or to what extent. Hideout, armor, guardian, and Defense have been mentioned as possible influencing factors. However, their specific effects or an exact calculation formula are not known.

Is it all true now?

The information regarding the assumed ratios between Strength, weapon HP, and the hit points actually dealt is based on player tests conducted with a newly created character. The results were used to investigate possible correlations. The values marked as assumed or approximate should therefore be regarded as historical test results rather than confirmed calculation formulas.
