Stan Claus
Stan Claus is an NPC who was introduced to MonstersGame as part of the 2010/11 Christmas event. He had the unusual user ID -1 and could be encountered randomly through the opponent search during the event.
Character description
“An obviously disoriented old man in red plush rags stumbles out of the wall toward you, holding a strange red-and-white weapon high above his head.”
Stan Claus's attribute values were not visible to players. Instead, his values were displayed as [???].
Equipment
Stan Claus carried a special item: a sword shaped like a red-and-white candy cane.
Christmas Event and Advent Calendar
Stan Claus was part of a special Christmas event that also introduced an Advent Calendar to MonstersGame.
During the event, players could find tiles for the Advent Calendar each day. If Stan Claus was encountered through the random opponent search and subsequently defeated, the player was guaranteed to receive a tile.
Tiles could also be found during regular battles.
Each tile found revealed another part of the Advent Calendar. Once all 24 tiles had been collected, the complete calendar image became visible.
Among the players who successfully completed the Advent Calendar, Premium Tickets were raffled off at the time.

A battle against Stan Claus could also be lost. Just like in a regular battle, the player could lose Gold.
Advent calendar
The Advent Calendar was part of the Christmas event featuring Stan Claus and was active from December 1st. A total of 24 tiles could be collected. With each tile found, another part of the calendar image became visible.
Once all 24 tiles had been found, the complete image could be viewed.
The Advent Calendar was no longer continued in this form after 2012.

After all 24 tiles had been collected, the complete image became visible. At the time, the finished image could be viewed in the player's status until January 6, 2011.
