Why Were the Games Shut Down?
A historical statement by Benutzer:CVD from the moonID portal provides some insight into the reasons and plans at the time. The following statement reflects the situation at that time and should not be understood as a current development plan:
Techwarrior and also other titles were discontinued, because RedMoon could no longer map the operation, maintenance and support cleanly and was in a downward spiral anyway, which you certainly did not miss as a player. After the change of ownership at the end of last year we invested a lot of time and money and are now rebuilding the running games in the first instance. Currently the focus is on KnightFight and MonsterGame. KnightFight has received a complete update. MonstersGame is a reprogramming. After the two titles were rolled out again, we would like to bring a Tales of Magic and the Techwarrior to the start again.
Will All the Games Return?
It is not known whether any of the discontinued games will officially return in the future, or which ones might return. Previous statements about possible relaunches of individual games do not constitute confirmation of a future release.
The statement quoted above documents plans from an earlier phase of RedMoon Studios. In particular, Tales of Magic and TechWarrior were mentioned as possible future projects. However, it cannot be determined from this statement whether or in what form these earlier plans are still being pursued.
The development, and especially a complete redevelopment, of an older browser game can require considerable effort. Previous announcements or plans should therefore not automatically be understood as confirmed future releases.
Current information about the games and possible future projects should be checked through official announcements and resources from moonID and RedMoon Studios.
