MoonCoins
MoonCoins
are the premium currency of the moonID portal. They can be used in MonstersGame, among other things, to access premium features and other corresponding in-game benefits.
Guide
One central payment system for all games
MoonCoins serve as the central premium currency within the moonID system. They are purchased or credited through the moonID payment system and can then be used in supported games. In MonstersGame, available MoonCoins can be used in the Blood Temple for the corresponding benefits.
Games that support MoonCoins
The games connected to moonID in which MoonCoins are or have been used include:
Note
The following sections describe the use of MoonCoins and Premium in MonstersGame.
Premium account
MonstersGame can generally be played for free. In addition, players have the option to activate a Premium Account, which provides various additional features and benefits compared to an account without Premium.
When activating or extending a Premium Account, an additional one-time Gold credit may be granted. The amount of this credit is based on the corresponding value in the Blood Temple. The values currently displayed in the game are authoritative.
The previously used formula (200 Gold + Level × 25 Gold) to (250 Gold + Level × 50 Gold) is no longer valid.
With an active Premium Account, the game displays how many Blood Drops are available and how much time remains on the Premium Account. The display may look like this, for example:

How do I get MoonCoins?
Since the Premium system was changed in 2013, Premium Tickets are no longer purchased. Instead, MoonCoins are credited to the moonID account. These can then be used in MonstersGame via the Blood Temple.
MoonCoins can be purchased through the payment section of the moonID portal. The available payment methods depend on the selected package and, where applicable, the selected country.
For Germany, the following payment methods are available in the moonID payment system as of August 2026, depending on the selected package:
- Bank transfer
- Credit card (Micropayment)
- Sofort
- PayPal
- Paysafecard
- Call2Pay (Micropayment)
- DaoPay (for Package 1)
Not every payment method is available for every package. In addition, the number of MoonCoins credited may vary depending on the payment method, as some payment methods provide additional bonus MoonCoins.
Offerwall
In addition to direct purchases, moonID also offers ways to earn MoonCoins through certain activities. The “Cash for Action” feature is available for this purpose in the payment section. The available activities and the number of MoonCoins credited for them depend on the current offers.
Former services
Over the years, various payment providers have been removed from the moonID payment system or were only available temporarily or in certain countries.
Historically documented former services include:
- Skrill
- Moneybookers
- Dotpay/Allpay
- GameTURK-Epin
- i-FREE
- Mobilpay
- Onebip
- Teleword
- YANDEX
Some of these services were removed with the payment update on April 28, 2011. According to earlier information, Skrill and Moneybookers were removed following another change in 2021.
Some of these payment services were offered exclusively on international game servers or in certain countries and were therefore not necessarily available for MonstersGame Germany.

The “Base” column shows the regular number of MoonCoins included in each package. Depending on the selected payment method, additional bonus MoonCoins are credited. The values shown in bold indicate the highest amount available at the time of verification.
In the moonID payment system, the actual number of MoonCoins you will receive is displayed directly for the selected package or payment method. This also takes limited-time special offers into account. For example, if a promotion grants additional MoonCoins, the increased amount is displayed directly in the payment section.
The table shows the documented information for Germany as of August 2026. Since payment methods, bonuses, and special offers may change, the number of MoonCoins displayed directly in the moonID payment system at the time of purchase is always authoritative.
Where can I find my already redeemed tickets?
In the Blood Temple, an overview of the latest transactions can be viewed. For a more comprehensive overview, the “Show more income” and “Show more expenses” functions are or were also available.
Transferring Mooncoins
MoonCoins can be transferred through the moonID voucher system. A dedicated voucher function (Voucher) is still available for this purpose in the current payment section.
To create or purchase a voucher, open the moonID payment section and select the appropriate voucher option. The specific options available may depend on the selected payment method and the current payment system.
After successful completion, you will receive a voucher code. This code can then be given to another person or redeemed by yourself.
Enter Mooncoin code
Anyone who has received a voucher code for MoonCoins can redeem it using the voucher function in the moonID payment section.
1. Open the moonID payment section. 2. Select the option to redeem a voucher.
3. Enter the voucher code you received in the designated field. Make sure not to include any additional spaces before or after the code when copying it.
If any problems occur when purchasing or redeeming a voucher, the appropriate support or ticket system should be used.
