Clan
In MonstersGame, vampires and werewolves can join together to form their own clans.
General
Via the Clans menu, you can search for existing clans and apply to join them or, if your character has already reached level 3, create your own clan. Once you have joined a clan or created your own, various options will become available under the Clans menu.
As a clan administrator, you can accept new members, assign clan rights, and remove members from the clan. You can also further upgrade the clan domicile or completely disband the clan. Therefore, you should carefully consider which rights you grant to other clan members.
The Clandomizil
The larger the clan domicile is, the more members can be accepted into the clan. Upgrading the clan domicile requires gold, which clan members can donate to the clan. The largest clan domicile currently available is level 25 and can accommodate up to 135 members.
Reasons for clans
Why should you join a clan? There are several reasons:
- You can meet new people
- If you are attacked by stronger players, you can ask other clan members for help
- You can share your Goldesel with other clan members and perhaps find new ones yourself
- You can wage wars against other clans
- You can organize tournaments to determine the best player in the clan
Clan tag/name error
If you receive an error when naming your clan, there are two possible reasons: Either the desired clan name or clan tag is already taken, or the name contains unsupported special characters or umlauts. Only numbers and uppercase and lowercase letters may be used for the clan tag. Umlauts are also not permitted in clan names. If you want to use umlauts, you must write them as follows:
- Ä = ae
- Ö = oe
- Ü = ue
- ß = ss
Admission of clan members
If you want to accept new players into your clan, your clan domicile must be upgraded accordingly. The further it is upgraded, the more members you can accept into the clan. For example, if your clan has 19 out of 20 members, you must upgrade the clan domicile before you can accept a 20th member, because one slot is already reserved by the system for applications!
Online display
Regular clan members can only see the clan administrators when they are online. Full admins, i.e. members with admin level 4, can see all clan members online as soon as they are active in the game.
Clan rights
To assign admin rights or clan rights, click on "Clan" > "Admin Rights". You must have the corresponding clan rights yourself in order to do so.
Clan rights enumeration
- Circular Message - Allows the clan member to send circular messages to all clan members.
- Forum Admin - Allows the clan member to change the stored link to the clan forum. During an earlier test phase, there was a clan forum integrated directly into MonstersGame. It was later removed and replaced with a freely selectable external link.
- Clan Description - Allows the clan member to edit and customize the clan description.
- Accept & Kick - Allows the clan member to accept applicants and remove members from the clan.
- Clan Wars - Allows the clan member to start or end a clan war.
- Disband Clan - Allows the clan member to completely disband the clan.
- Full Admin - Grants all of the clan rights listed above and therefore the highest administrator level.
